Welcome to GROWminnie!   We have a passion for growing and our mission is to provide garden plants everyone can grow whether you have a yard or not.  GROWminnie micro plant varieties are carefully selected so they stay small in stature but produce well and can be grown in small spaces like decks, balconies patios, even in classrooms!

Minnesota winters are long, especially for avid gardeners. When we stumbled on micro dwarf tomatoes a few years ago we just had to try them! It was so much fun watching them grow, blossom and fruit inside our home while it was cold and snowing outside. We had a little taste of summer all winter long! We were smitten, and before long we found other tiny garden varieties like peppers, greens, dwarf herbs….it was a whole new world!

We just knew these plants would be great for people who lived in apartments, condos, assisted living and didn’t have yards but wanted to have a garden. And so, the idea for GROWminnie was born.

GROWminnie is a great way to bring the joy of gardening to others but it’s way more than that for us. We are a family with disabilities and GROWminnie provides a way for us to really be a part of our community while doing something we love. Gardening is fun, it improves social and mental health. It has so many benefits. We hope to share our products and the joy of gardening with you!
